Most of us begin a Reiki session with Gassho, followed by a silent affirmation for the successful healing of the patient and then finally ‘Turn on the Reiki’. As the Reiki begins to flow, we usually begin our routine in one of 2 ways. Some will immediately begin with position 1 where they place their hands over the patient’s eyes. Others will begin with Byosen, using their hands to scan
the patient’s energy field, feeling for areas in need of healing.
The eyes can also be used as an effective tool at the beginning of a Reiki session.
Instead of only focusing on the sensation in your hands, I will show you how to scan the patient with your eyes, Purchase Cialis seeing their energy field and looking for areas that are in need of repair and that will need your attention during the treatment.
What will these areas look lik
e? The 2 most common energy disturbances that you will see are areas of low energy output and
areas where there is no energy output at all. Low energy output is an indication that there is a rip in the patient’s energy field. Depending on the severity of
the rip, the patient may not even be aware that anything is wrong.
Rips usually manifest physically as some kind of low-grade, nagging problem that comes and goes on it’s own.
However, when you see an area with no energy output, that is a sign of a much deeper, serious problem. A hole
is not just the lack of energy output but a place where the physical body is trying to grab hold of as much energy as possible as the body tries to heal itself.
When you see a hole you will see that it is not a void but a highly volatile area where the energy that normally flows out and into the aura is now being sucked back into the physical body. This is definitely an indication of a more serious, physical problem.
Here is a simple technique that is easily incorporated into your healing routine.
- Begin your Reiki session lipitor as you normally do with Gassho and other preparations to start the Reiki flowing. Levitra y alcohol
- Move behind the patient so that you are looking down their body, head to toe.

- Continue to slowly scan all the way down your patient’s body. Don’t rush. Take a few minutes to complete the scan. You want to specifically look for peaks and valleys in the energy field. Make a mental note of any places where you think you see a rip or hole.
- While not everyone is able to see the colors of the energy field, if you do, look for changes in color, shade and intensity.
- When you have scanned all the way down the patient’s body, scan back from the toes to the head. Visually revisit areas that you noticed during the first pass and confirm what you saw the
first time.
As you move back to begin with position 1 or Byosan and complete the Reiki session, pay special attention to any areas that you may have seen in the visual scan.
For example, if you noticed a rip, feel your energy st itching
it together. If you felt a hole in the energy field, hold your hands over the area and let it draw as much healing energy as it needs directly from your hands.
